My Favorite Looks for 2010

Everyone did the “Ombre” hairstyle. This style is a darker long root that gradually has significantly lighter tips. This look is hot! We saw it everywhere from the runway to the red carpet. Julia Roberts did a soft nature Ombre style look, where her ends were lighter than her root color.

Extensions are fun way of adding some extra color or length to your existing hair. I recommend getting a shade or two lighter than your natural hair color so it has the illusion of darker roots. My next favorite style for 2010 was the short, blonde pixie cut. Nothing is more refreshing than seeing a super short style. This look is sexy and classy and suitable for any age group. Michelle Williams is seen here sporting the pixie cut with a big side swept bang.

A great way of testing out dramatic hair styles is wig a wig. Its not permanent and it takes minutes to put on. My personal favorite to create this look is the Love Pixie Wig by Forever Young. Another great thing about wigs, you can even change the color without damaging your hair!

Another glamorous look thats great for everyday is long pony with a center part. Nicole Richie is seen here with her hair naturally put into a pony.
